Here are a few of the notable Japanese men


Chiune Sugihra-Japanese consulate general during World War II, who issued thousands of visas to Jewish peolpe even though he was not authorized to do so. Later, he was fired from his job and lost his all the status and fortune.
His courageous act was unknown till a Jewish man whoes life was saved by Sugihara, decided to look for him almost 20 years later. Read more...It's amazing!

Hayakawa Tokuji was the founder of Sharp, and he did invent a mechanical pencil in 1915 when he was only 21 years old.



Furuno Brothers-shortly after the end of World War II, to save their family from proverty with sick father, they invented the world first fish finder in 1948, and successfully commercialized their unique and reliable products since then.

Why dont you set up a section on biographies of well known Japanese industrialists..I for example read with quite interest the autobiography of Akio Morita.

He is an also pretty amazing man!
I am sure there are so many more amazing Japanese men we don't know about.
I wish I had more time to research them.
But my favorite is Chiue Sugihara.
His wife was so lucky to be able to support such a honorable man!

I would also read about more Japanese historical figures. I found it very interesting and hope you post more =)
