I am much older than those who listen to loud and somewhat obnoxious Rock music.But I just love the energy and power of this one song called,” SPEED" by "Analog Fish", a Japanese band.

Speaking English for the past years on daily basis. I miss the variety of Japanese language.
It has distinctive female language and male language. No wonder it makes it more amusing to watch TV shows and Movies, as well as reading nobels and comics.
For people who are thinking about learning Japanese, you should pick a teacher who matchs your sex. I often see American men speaking Japanese like women. It is very uncomfortable to hear and see them speak that way. I can see they have learned Japanese from their girlfriends or their wife. It instantly give an impression of "womanizer" to Japanese women.
There is hardly any difference between how a woman speak and man speak in English.
But in Japanese, the difference is very clear.
You can see a lots of difference in Japanese comics (in Japanese) since the male characters talk very much lika a man to emphasize its humorous contents.
